What is your process like when you work on a humor piece?
I like to walk around and jot anything that strikes me as funny down in my Notes app. Most of the time, I’ll write the whole thing in there. I can’t type and walk so I usually sit on a bench or stand under an awning as I do this. It probably looks weird.
Any big summer plans?
I think I’m going to Maine. Actually, that’s in the early fall. I guess I don’t have any big summer plans, but I’d like to do some clamming.
What can people expect from your reading?
People can expect me to stand around and read from my Notes app. It will probably look weird. A stranger once told me I have “banana fingers.”
