You have a great understanding of writing, music and coding. Do you find that these three interests essentially inform each other or are you shifting how you think about things when you move from one to the other?
I wouldn’t quite say they inform each other directly, but I do tend to think of them all as the pursuit of precise arrangements built from smaller components like words, notes, and variables. I wish I could articulate a more comprehensive underlying structural theory. Sorry!
Any big summer plans?
My most treasured summer tradition is planning to learn how to surf but then never actually following through.
