How is your spring going?

This spring, it pleases me greatly. I've been eliminating possessions in a fervor and replacing all my garbage-y clothes with decent-looking dresses and AN ACTUAL GOWN. I am also in France for the second time in a single year like a proper fucking asshole.

What have you worked on in the past year that you're most happy with?

I finished my first book, All The Lives I Want, in the second half of 2015 and edited it in 2016 which was oddly satisfying. I also wrote this grim essay about the gaping hole left by the absence of Christian faith in my life that I find oddly soothing.

What’s your favorite brunch spot?

Brunch is a slippery slope. Unless celebrating a birth, a marriage, or tending to the wounds of a friend's break-up, I abstain entirely.

What can people expect from your reading?

Nervous gesticulation, vocal fry, effusive apologies, and a number of other feminine-coded verbal ticks that I'm taking with me to my grave.
