Are you doing anything special for Halloween?
Honestly, my Halloween game has really gone downhill since I was a senior in college and dressed up as a slutty elephant. There's a dog costume parade the weekend before Halloween in the East Village and that will probably be the highlight of my entire month.
What have you worked on lately that you're proud of?
I haven't had anything particularly exciting published recently, because I'm always just trying to string together enough freelance gigs to pay the bills. (#RealTalk #HireMePlease) But I am really enjoying the news writing I'm doing for Broadly because I get to write about topics that really interest me and interview a lot of very cool people.
What can people expect from your reading?
It'll be extremely earnest and personal, which is very out of character for me. I apologize in advance.
What's your favorite scary movie?
Toy Story 3.
