You're a fantastic poet. I've been fortunate to read some of your poems while you're still working on them and it's fascinating to see how you consider each word so carefully. How has the process of working through poems changed for you over the years? Or has it mostly remained the same?
I've definitely become more thoughtful about line length and line endings. I used to just focus on the words themselves and end a line wherever it immediately felt right, but I spend a lot more time playing around with the form now.
Looking ahead, what's your favorite thing about New York when the weather is warm?
I love being able to lie in the grass in Astoria Park while the whole neighborhood is active and alive around me.

Small windows into intimate moments in my life with me trying to be comfortable divulging my feelings to an audience!
