You have one of the coolest websites I've ever seen. I almost jumped out of my chair when you started blinking on the homepage because I thought it was a photo. How did you come up with that design?

It was a collab with my designer friend Eric Ahlstrom. I needed a website that made up for my lack of work experience in order to get noticed in my field. Once we decided to a make a video landing page, Eric just pointed the camera at me to see what I’d do. 

Your work runs the gamut from jokes on Twitter to live storytelling events. Have you ever had a Twitter joke that led to something you wanted to tell a story about? Or vice versa?

Yeah, I usually tweet about something that happened and then later realize it would be a good story.

What can people expect from your reading?

A cringeworthy laugh and maybe a spoonful of petty revenge.
