RS: You recently had your second Hey Ladies live event, accompanied by a hilarious promo video. What sort of preparation goes into that and are you planning more live events in the future?
MM: It tends to be a lot of g-chatting about "we really need to figure out what we're doing for the show!" then finally just pulling it together. It's been really fun working with the same girls for the live shows, and when we're writing the series now on The Toast, I'll get ideas for the characters based on their delivery. But one of my favorite parts is all our logistical rehearsal emails devolving into their very own Hey Ladies emails.
What can people expect from your reading on Saturday?
Hopefully they'll laugh? I feel like Jon Favreau in Swingers when he makes a bad joke then has to tell that chick he's a comedian. Also probably a lot of references to movies and TV shows from the early to mid '80s.
What can Michelle Markowitz fans look forward to in 2015?
