You have one of the top 5 best Instagram accounts of all-time. I don't actually have the vocabulary to describe what's so cool about it. I think it has something to do with how it feels similar to most good Instagram accounts in that it gives the impression that you're a cool person, but the posting feels effortless. You often seem to approach Instagram subjects in a way that subverts expectations, like when you'll post a photo of a Gossip Girl book cover with the caption: "A more direct line than you’d think from this to glossier." And then I'm like, "Wait, I sort of know what 'glossier' is" and I'll google "glossier definition" and it's literally like, "shiny and smooth," so then I'll google "glossier product" and it's a skincare product line. And I think THIS is what makes a great Instagram presence, when you trust the person whose posting and you want to learn more about the things that the person is posting about. It makes me think of like, when Oprah started a book club and you are just spending hours each week with the Oprah brand because you're reading books she's recommended. This is the longest one of these questions I've ever written, I'm sorry. I guess my question is: what advice do you have for people who use Instagram?

"Just be yourself."

It's almost March. What's your favorite thing to do in New York in Spring?

I like to walk around my neighborhood, Bed-Stuy, and try to spot friendly cats to say hi to.

What can people expect from your reading?

A little bit of bravado mixed with a lot of awkwardness
